[Thursday, May 5th, 2011]

Consumers have a lot of reason to cheer as they can take full advantage of all the credit card offers that are likely to pour in this month, April 2011. The 0% APR with the low introductory rates will come in strongly this month. On the balance transfers, the consumers can now avail 0% with an introductory period of 24 months. But on purchases the 0% introductory rates will only be available for up to 21 months.

Just a year ago, these offers would have been unimaginable. But as the competition has increased card issuers are coming up with new innovative ideas to entice customers as they are on a full-fledged war with each other to get a major share in the market. This is a great opportunity for consumers as they can simply dump the high-interest credit cards and make a switch to these low-interest cards.

This April would be the best time of the year for consumers who have been burdened with the high-interest rates on their cards. Now they are likely to find a lot of options with regard to the 0% APR balance transfers.

Discover More has the 0% APR on balance transfers that last for 24 months. The offer was introduced in January and is available till April end. Since this offer is very popular it has been extended till the end of April. However, these offers may be withdrawn from the next month.

Citi Platinum Card has the best offer overall with 0% APR on balance transfers with the second longest offering.
